Cookie Policy

Effective date: May 31, 2026 · Last updated: August 28, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Janity.AI LLC ("we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on janity.ai (formerly herosconsulting.ai) and the Janity.ai web application (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by websites you visit. They let a website remember things about you between page loads or visits. "Similar technologies" includes localStorage and sessionStorage, which serve a similar purpose.

2. What we use them for

We use cookies and local storage for what is necessary to operate the Service and to remember your preferences. On our public marketing pages we also run a third-party visitor-identification pixel, described in the table below. We do not use advertising-network cookies, and we do not run behavioral-advertising trackers such as Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or the TikTok Pixel.

CategoryPurposeRequired?
Strictly necessary Keep you signed in (Supabase auth session), remember the last screen you visited, support CSRF protection and rate-limiting, save in-progress bid drafts in your browser so you don't lose work. Yes — the Service will not work without these.
Preferences Remember your language choice (English / Spanish), your access code, dismissed banners, and similar UI preferences. No — but the Service will be less convenient.
Payment Stripe sets its own cookies when you check out, to detect fraud and complete the transaction. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy. Yes — only when you start a checkout.
Visitor identification Our public marketing pages load the AudienceLab SuperPixel (served from cdn.idpixel.app, reporting to collector.idpixel.app). It observes your visit — pages viewed, referring URL, clicks, scroll depth, time on page, tab visibility, page-load timings, browser language and screen size — and keeps an identifier in your browser's local storage. AudienceLab's stated purpose is to match that visit against its own profile data so we can follow up with prospective business customers, and its privacy policy states it may combine the information with data from other providers. It runs on our public marketing pages only — it is not loaded inside the signed-in Janity.ai application. No. It is not loaded at all if your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or if you opt out on our Do Not Sell or Share page.
